The Institute activities and courses are printed in Korento, which is a newsletter of the Education and Cultural Services Department of the City of Lieksa. The newsletter is published in September, the beginning of January and in May–June.

Signing up for the courses

You can sign up for the courses by:

- phone, telephone number 04010 44106 (in Finnish) and either 04010 44108 or 04010 44112 (in English)
- coming in person on the day of registration (in autumn)
- visiting the office at the address Rantalantie 8 (open in weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm).

You can register until the first day of the course. You can also register after the course has started if there are vacancies for students in the course.

The students are accepted to a course in the order of registration. Please note the rules for cancelling your registration.

A person who is regarded unemployed can join two courses without paying the course fees. Ask for further information from the office, telephone number 04010 44106 (in Finnish) and either 04010 44108 or 04010 44112 (in English). 

Cancelling your registration

* You can cancel your registration without extra charge before the course has started by calling the number 04010 44106 (in Finnish) and 04010 44112 (in English) or by visiting the office (at the address Rantalantie 8).

* In case you do not cancel your registration before the course has started (even if you do not enter it at all) or you drop out, you must pay the course fee entirely.
